Noelle's Bunnies

It's finished! It's finished! I'm sooooooo happy with how it turned out and it was sooooooo much fun to make!
The idea came to me when my 7 year old niece, Noelle, presented me with this lovely drawing. I was particularly fond of the large ears. :)  Noelle also loves flowers, so adding some posies seemed like a perfect fit. After all, bunnies love to hide and have a posy sneaky snack!

The bunny heads are pieced and the posies are fusible applique. The finished quilt measures 56" x 84" and the pattern is available in my SHOP.

Thanks for the wonderful inspiration Noelle. Auntie loves you so very much you magical little sprite.

Have a fun week everybun! xx,

Noelle is a beautifu girl, who obviously has quite a sense of style. No wonder the quilt is beautiful, with her inspiration, and your talent. I thought it was wool when I first saw it. I bet it would be good done that way, also.

You did good and so did your quilt muse! The bunnies are design enough, but when the flowers are added, that really punches it up.

Now look, the peasant blouse with flowery jeans that has a macrame belt - magical sprite. I agree with others, there is an artistic thread that runs. Just love the quilt and finally getting to see the whole thing, together!

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the posies as accent blocks. When you first posted them I thought they were buttons. I should wear my glasses more often. Your inspiration is beautiful. A wonderful muse to have.

Noelle is quite the artist, and I for one, think her little bunny is divine. How lucky to have a quilt named just for her! Are you teaching her to piece?

It's just as cute as I knew it would be! And what a sweetie your niece is - how tickled she must be that you named the quilt after her. blessings, marlene
